Frequently Asked Questions

We are a pediatric home health company that provides speech, occupational, and physical therapies, as well as nursing services to children.

Therapy services can be provided at daycare centers, but not at public schools. However, arrangements may be made to provide nursing services during the day at public schools.

We will do our best to provide services to your child at your most convenient times, allowing for after-hours and weekend availability if needed.

Our therapy visits typically take about 30-40 minutes a visit. Nurse care is in the home and a typical shift is 8-12 hours, and depending on the child’s needs, up to 24 hours a day.

Our team will consult with your child’s physician to develop a schedule to meet your child’s specific needs. Other factors may include insurance requirements, depending on the payor source.

Of course! All employees must pass multiple background checks including references, criminal, abuse and neglect, as well as federal and state screenings as required. We want to ensure that we are providing each home with compatible staff by offering a meet and greet prior to placement. At MVP, we want to be more than just a home health. We want to be family!

We will work closely with you, your pediatrician, and other care team members to develop a plan to fit your child’s unique needs, situation, and goals.
